WhatsApp Messenger has got you covered! It’s a fantastic platform that offers free, reliable, and private messaging, along with free calling worldwide. Initially, the app focused on simple messaging and group chats, but over time, it has evolved with some exciting interactive features.
One of the latest additions is the “Add Participants” feature. In a recent development, WhatsApp is rolling out this feature, allowing users to add new members to a group right from the group chat itself.
The update, version 2.23.16.10, is currently available for Android users in the WhatsApp beta from the Google Play Store. Although some users may have already experienced this with previous beta updates, others can patiently wait for the stable update.
Here’s how it works:
When you’re in a group chat, you might notice a new banner that encourages you to add new participants. Simply tap on that banner, and you can immediately select the new members you want to add to the group. This streamlined process replaces the older method of going through group info, scrolling down, and tapping on “add participants.”
Aside from the “Add Participants” feature
WhatsApp has introduced other interesting updates too. One of them is the latest “video messaging” feature, which functions similarly to voice messaging, a feature that has been available in the app for some time now. To send an instant recorded voice or video message to someone, all you have to do is tap and hold the respective icons located at the bottom right of the chat window.
With these continuous improvements and user-friendly features, WhatsApp remains a top choice for keeping in touch with friends and family across the globe. So, if you haven’t already, give it a try and enjoy seamless communication with your loved ones!
