In June of 2023, Qualcomm made an official announcement about the launch of their highly anticipated 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. This latest 4nm chipset is specifically designed to power mid-range smartphones, and it comes with some exciting features that you wouldn’t want to miss. To get a glimpse of what’s in store, you can now check out the DevC list.

Compared to its predecessor, the 4 Gen 1, this new Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor boasts impressive improvements. It now features Adreno 613 graphics and a Qualcomm Kryo CPU, clocking in at a maximum speed of 2.2GHz. This performance boost is a significant 10% increase, promising faster and smoother operations.

But that’s not all – the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor packs even more functionalities. It supports a stunning 120FPS FHD+ display, upgraded memory UFS 3.1, ISP, noise reduction, and the X61 5G modem-RF system.

And if that’s not enough, the fast charging technology included can take your phone’s battery from 0 to 50% in just 15 minutes, ensuring you never run out of power during the day.

Given its impressive specifications, it’s no surprise that many mid-range Android smartphone manufacturers have chosen to equip their devices with Snapdragon processors.
