BMW Motorrad has unveiled its latest and most powerful crossover sportbike, the M 1000 XR. The bike is expected to launch in India soon, and it is expected to challenge the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R for supremacy in the segment.
The M 1000 XR is powered by a 999cc inline-four engine that produces 201 horsepower and 112 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a bidirectional quickshifter.
The bike features a number of advanced technologies, including:

The bike’s suspension is composed of 45mm USD forks up front and a monoshock rear shock. Braking is provided by dual 320mm discs up front and a single 265mm disc in the rear.
The M 1000 XR is available in two colours: Light White and Black Storm Metallic. The bike is expected to be priced at around ₹24.96 lakh in India.
